Wedgit sliding door locks allow you to put pressure on the sliding glass door and force it against the dog door panel to help seal the two

A Charlie bar is not a new concept and you can probably find one at your local hardware store, but this is a vast improvement in that you can twist it and it extends, so you can use it to force the slider against a dog door panel for a sliding glass door. The brackets can be mounted 3 or 4 feet off the ground eliminating the need to bend over and pull the stick out to open the door. The Wedgit comes in White and Tan colors and Short and Long lengths.
When measuring you want to factor in the width of your pet door panel. If you have a large Thermo Panel 3e for example the total width of the panel is 15 inches. If the distance from the back of the sliding glass door to the wall is 36", we can subtract the 15" width of the panel and come up with a total length of 21 inches. The correct choice would be the shorter Wedgit with the 17 to 25 inch adjustment.
