We do not recommend this pet door for use with dogs because the clip to screen mounting is not strong enough. This is our favorite screen mounted cat door, because it is easy to install and it isn’t necessary to put screen in the flap as is required on some other models.
If you need a pet door for screens that can be used by a dog, the Hale Pet Screen is the most universal and strongest design.
