Ideal's Fast Sash window doggy door has a spring loaded adjuster on both ends. This gives it a 5" adjustment range. Available in all sizes to fit anything from cats to labradors, this window mount pet door will get the job done inexpensively. This door is fine for temperate climates, if you live in an area where it gets really hot or really cold, or if your house is very energy efficient and you want an efficient pet door, we suggest you look at the Thermo Sash or Optiview doors.
The E-Cat electronic version works with an included magnetic collar key. This door operates better when the collar key comes close to the bottom of the flap. The higher the collar key in relation to the flap, the less reliably the door works. If you have to build a step or install a shelf for the pet to use the door, install it low and let the pet have a fairly high step over to get through the door. This will ensure that the key is as close as possible to the bottom of the opening as they go through.
This particular sash pet door is unique in that the pet door is mounted in the middle with a small window on either side. After you click on your flap size preference below you'll be able to choose the appropriate width for your window.
